When you think of Albufeira, this evokes the association with partying youth and rugged coastlines. In 2017, during my holiday in Albufeira, I discovered that the town has a very old cemetery. I decided to visit it coupled with a walk, which became a tough walk as the temperature quickly rose above 30 degrees. I was rewarded with a beautiful cemetery, words cannot possibly represent this beauty so this time some more photos than usual, because I really didn’t get bored.
About the cemetery
The old municipal cemetery is located on the Rua do Cerro Grande, Albufeira, the old town. I have not been able to find anything about this cemetery so far.
