Cemetery Malvaglia

During a short holiday with my daughter we noticed a special cemetery close to the mountains, we only discovered it during our departure. Luckily next year we were able to visit the same region again, this time we made sure we visited this cemetery. Having seen so many Dutch graveyards it is extra nice to visit one in a other country. I loved the amount of sculptures that we present, also very old graves were maintained and in a good state.

About the cemetery
I couldn’t find anything about the cemetery, together with my daughter I discovered this cemetery during a short holiday in Switzerland in 2018.

The town of Malvaglia was first mentioned in 1205 as De Malvaglia. In German it was known as Manglia. The development and history of this town are closely linked to the history and development of the Blenio valley.
The village is on the list of Swiss heritage.
